Future is circular – save the oceans

The future is circular! Buying The Rocks Push men’s shorts helps clean the oceans.

It’s become everybody’s problem to help save the planet. So the time has finally come to transition to a fashion textile system that delivers better economic, societal, and environmental outcomes.

We now make all our swim shorts from ECONYL® regenerated nylon. This is a yarn made from nylon waste from landfills and ghost fishing nets from oceans around the world. It’s exactly the same as brand new nylon and can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again.

That means you can buy our swimwear and we aren’t using new resources to create them. The really good news about The Rocks Push men’s boardshorts is that one ton of fishing nets can make 10,000 pairs of board shorts, for every 9 pairs of Rocks Push board shorts sold, 9kgs of waste has been recycled.

World Animal Protection reports that 640,000 tons of gear are lost and pollute oceans each year. But this abandoned fishing gear goes well beyond pollution. “Ghost nets,” for example, are a danger to marine habitats and sea life. It’s just better for marine animals and better for the planet, so you can buy the most stylish men’s designer shorts and still feel good about your purchase.

Thank you for popping by.

I am very sorry, we have very few swim shorts left here for you to choose from for your Christmas pressies.

Our supply chain was interrupted with COVID and so we are now making our swim shorts here in Australia.  Woohoo!

But the first delivery is running very late and I am not sure if they will arrive in time for Christmas orders.  I am sorry.

If you’re keen to know when they arrive, which may be in time for Christmas orders, please pop your email below and I will be sure to email you as soon as they are here.

These shorts are made from recycled fishing nets and made in Aus in very special iconic Aussie prints,  I hope you’ll think they’re worth waiting for.

Thank you for your loyalty and understanding.
