Choosing swim shorts is exciting, what style will be best, what length, and what colour and print? Those long summer days will drift into longer summer nights and it’s important to look after your swim shorts to make sure they stay in great shape all season.
We make our Rocks Push swim shorts from very strong and durable recycled nylon and they’re quick drying. We double stitch our swimwear with bar-tacks in the right places so they’ll keep up with you. And our exclusive prints make our board shorts really special to look at and to wear.
Delicate to create and delicate in nature, the vibrant prints we make require care, they like to be used in freshwater and saltwater but they’re not keen on chlorine and they don’t like lying in the sun either.
Your Rocks Push board shorts are nature lovers. They’re made from recycled fishing nets and they like being treated with love. Don’t we all. Wear them in fresh water and salt water and dry them flat in the shade. Please use them sparingly in chlorine, as these harsh chemicals will bleach the colours from the print.
Here are some care tips for your swimwear:
★ COMMON CAUSES OF DETERIORATION
In excessive amounts, chemicals such as chlorine, sunscreen, perfume, deodorant, tanning products and perspiration can all cause staining and age your swim shorts
★ RINSE YOUR SWIMWEAR
Rinse your swim shorts in clean water and wash with a mild detergent in 30C
★ AVOID CHLORINE
High degrees of chlorine will result in bleaching away the colour and destroying the fabric. For regular use in chlorinated water, such as spas or public pools, please choose chlorine resistant swimwear that is designed for use in swimming pools
★ DRY IN THE SHADE
Dry your swim shorts flat and in the shade to prevent bleaching from the sun
★ ROUGH SURFACES
Avoid rough surfaces to prevent rubbing and snagging damage to the fabric
★ REMOVE TRAPPED SAND
Remove any trapped sand in your board shorts by rinsing them inside out
