RAIN RAIN

Go away.  When will it stop?  The wettest December on record, the coldest December day in 50 or so years.

Our warehouse flooded last night.  Wading through the torrent, boxes and boxes of swim shorts and thongs were hurriedly repacked one on top of the other in a mad fashion as the waters rose.

Reminiscent of Noah’s Ark, we were floating on a sea of precariously suspended pallets.

Another delivery of swim shorts is arriving today and it’s time to get practical.

Quick drying nylon swim shorts are now valid on the streets at all times, best teamed with waterproof jackets, rubber footwear and a snorkel (the latter can be left at the door in polite company).
