WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INSPIRATION AND THOSE QUOKKAS

February 23, 2015

WA is just one of those places. Blissfully perfect, white sands, crystal clear water. It really does Australia proud. We had the most amazing time exploring Rottnest Island over the weekend. What a spot… with no cars you’re straight onto a bike and riding past the Australian native Quokka in no time. Fending off the inevitable jokes about ‘Quokka Soccer’, these marsupials resemble a small, tame, wallaby-like creature. They just add to the basic simplicity and incredible beauty of the island.

From The Basin, Geordie Bay to Green Bay on bike, to sipping some of the nicest sauvignon blanc from Margaret River, and Little Creatures beer, we had an inspirational trip for The Rocks Push. Coming straight off the infamous 21km Rottnest Island swim from Cottesloe Beach, the island was buzzing with activity… you just have to put this one on your must-see list.

There’s a fabulous boutique on the island called Indianic Rottnest Island you just can’t miss and as always it was great to see Western Australian’s wearing The Rocks Push all over the island.

We are already booking the next trip.
